Tonight I attended a seminar on Kenya and have a new perspective on visiting there. I’ve always loved the movie ‘Out of Africa’ and this past fall we also got the chance to see ‘Africa, the Serengeti’ at the IMAX which was pretty close to being there. As the grasslands in the south dry out the herds travel north to Kenya in one of the biggest migrations on earth. Taking a safari in Kenya gets you close to the action and is the original destination for this type of adventure.

Tourism is now the number one industry in Kenya, Canada alone sent 29,000 people there last year. By 2012 the nmber is expected to grow to 50,000. Will you be one of them? The group is open to all ages, and individual meetup details will advise if children are welcome or if there are any other restrictions.

Most bus trips will operate from the Durham Region / Toronto GTA area but the group is open to people anywhere.
